11. The NiMH program group and the NiCd program group

If you wish to charge Nickel batteries at a higher rate than normal (the "normal" current is
deemed to be 1/10 of the nominal battery capacity), you must ensure that the battery
consists of cells expressly stated to be fast charge capable.
Both program groups include the following functions/menus:

Charging Nickel batteries:

Final charge voltage NiXX: automatic, Delta-Peak method

Variable charge current

Discharging Nickel batteries:
Variable discharge current
o
Variable discharge voltage
o
Cycling (charging / discharging) Nickel batteries:
o Start by charging, end by discharging, or start by discharging, end by charging
o Variable cycle count: one to five cycles
o Variable charge current
o Variable discharge current
o The final discharge voltage is set in the NiXX DISCHARGE menu; the charger
automatically accepts this setting for discharging in the NiXX CYCLE menu.
