11.1. Charging Nickel batteries
The set-up process for charging, discharging and cycling (charging / discharging) a Nickel battery
is described in the following section, using a NiMH pack as an example. The procedure is basically
the same with NiCd batteries.

the NiXX CHARGE menu

INC Press the INC button to move to the NiMH DISCHARGE menu.

Press the ENTER button to move to setting the charge current. You can
increase this value by pressing the INC button, or decrease it using the
DEC button.
Hold the START button pressed in to initiate the charge process. You
can interrupt the charge process by pressing the STOP button.
The MULTIcharger LN-6015 EQU checks whether the battery is
correctly connected, then initiates the charge process.

Press the ENTER button to move to setting the discharge current.
You can increase this value by pressing the INC button, or reduce it

by pressing the DEC button.
INC Pressing the ENTER button again takes you to setting the final
discharge voltage of your NiMH battery. Press the INC button to
increase this value, or the DEC button to reduce it. If you are unsure

of the final discharge voltage, please refer to the instructions
supplied by the battery manufacturer.
Hold the START button pressed in to initiate the discharge process.
You can interrupt the discharge process at any time by pressing the

The MULTIcharger LN-6015 EQU now checks whether the battery
