3.

dirty and replace with a new filter.
a.
Remove the foam
precleaner that is wrapped

air filter element with warm
water and mild soap.
Replace the water as

b.
Tap the pleated filter against
a hard surface to dislodge dirt and dust. Finer particulate matter may

c.
Never attempt to brush the accumulated dust and debris from the
filter. This will force the grime into the fibers and plug the filter.
d.
Reassemble the foam and paper filter elements.
5.
Reinstall the filter into the housing and secure in place.
6.
Install the air filter assembly onto the carburetor and secure with screw.
REPLACING THE SPARK PLUG
NOTICE! Using an incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage. Only
replace a spark plug with a model recommended by the manufacturer.
The spark plug must be properly gapped and free of deposits for the best
performance. Check local bylaws to see if a resistor spark plug is required to
suppress ignition signals. Replace the included spark plug with a resistor spark
plug if required.
1.
Remove any dirt from around the spark plug area.
