CURRENT MEASUREMENTS

- Place the switch of the clamp
on 1mV/A or 1V/A. Check that
the light indicator is on.
- Connect the E1N clamp to a
voltmeter on the 200 mV or 2 V
range (black lead to common
and red lead to the «Volt» input).
- If necessary, reset zero (see
above).
- Enclose the jaws of the clamp around the conductor carrying the current to be
measured. Check that the conductor is aligned in relation to the marks and that the
clamp is fully closed.
For maintenance, use only specified spare parts. The manufacturer will not be
held responsible for any accident occuring following a repair done other than
by its After Sales Service or approved repairers.

Jaw faces :
It is necessary to always keep the jaw faces clean. Clean them and lightly oil them to
avoid rust. Do not leave the clamp in very damp places, or directly exposed to water.
Handles and case :
Clean with a cloth or a sponge soaked with soapy water, rinse in the same way without
ever getting water on the clamp. Dry with a cloth or in an air flow.

To maintain the performance of the clamp, it is advisable to carry out a check or
recalibration every year.
For checking and calibration of your instrument, please contact our accredited
