Every compressor is supplied with a dedicated INT69® Diagnose protector, assembled directly in
the factory. If you need to fit an INT69® Diagnose from another compressor, it is essential that you advise
Tecumseh.
4.2-3 – How to read stored data

USB connection: connect the INT69® Diagnose directly to a PC. Download the software from the
www.kriwan.com

Dp-Modbus gateway. This is a converter from a serial signal into Modbus protocol, which can be
interfaced with any standard controller

LAN Modbus gateway. In this case, the INT69® Diagnose module must be connected to the Dp-
ModBus gateway, then connected to the ModBus LAN, to have access to the data on the LAN.
4.3 – Reduction in the refrigeration power:
The power regulation kit may be installed on all 4-cylinder compressors. With 1 kit, the volume scanned is
reduced by 50% in relation to its nominal value.
It is important to note that the refrigerating capacity and the input power are not reduced in the same
ratio as the scanned volume. The actual refrigerating and absorbed capacities, corresponding to the
reduction in the nominal scanned volume, may be calculated using the software.
4.3 – No-load start-up:
The no-load start-up kit allows the suction pressure and the discharge pressure to be more or less equal.
The differential is of the order of 0.5 bar. In this way, the starting torque necessary is reduced, and also the
current absorbed.
