Insulation test

An insulation or dielectric rigidity test has already been done in the factory. If you need to re-do this test,
load the compressor with nitrogen or refrigerant gas and apply a maximum voltage of 1000V ac.
Never do the insulation test on a compressor drawing a vacuum. A vacuum is an excellent
conductor and can cause a corona effect (flash cluster) and immediately void the warranty.
Never apply a voltage directly to the thermistance terminals. A few volts are enough to damage it.
Ensure that the protection devices (INT69® Diagnose included) are acting on the main contactor in
order to cut the supply to the compressor directly.
