– Detach the reel belt (Pos. 20800), remove the retaining washer
(Pos. 20510) and remove the pulley together with the friction clutch
(Pos. 20500, Fig. 8.21).
– Remove the clutch spring (Pos. 20400), remove the retaining
washer (Pos. 20310) and the clutch gear (Pos. 2030A, Fig. 8.21).
Notes on lubricating the pulley shaft and clutch gear (Pos. 2030A)
– Always use the types of lubricants with part numbers 75988 061
7700, 75988 061 7800 for lubricating the pulley shaft and the clutch
gear (Pos. 2030A).
– Follow the lubrication instructions given in Fig. 8.21!

8.8 Brake Actuating Lever (Pos. 31100), Brake Control Lever
(Pos. 31000)
– Remove the driving system of the cassette mechanism and crescent
slide (see point 8.3).
– Remove the reel belt (Pos. 20800, Fig. 8.21).
– Disengage clamp J, then clamp K and remove the brake control
lever (Pos. 31000, Fig. 8.22).
– Detach the brake return spring (Pos. 31300) and the clutch change
lever spring (Pos. 31200, Fig. 8.22).
– Disengage clamp L, then clamp M and remove the brake actuating
lever (Pos. 31100, Fig. 8.22).
Notes on lubricating the brake actuating lever (Pos. 31100)
– Always use grease with part number 75988 061 7800 for lubricating
the brake actuating lever (Pos. 31100).
– Follow the lubrication instructions given in Fig. 8.22!

8.9 Crescent Slide (Pos. 60600)
– Remove the driving system of the cassette mechanism and crescent
slide (see point 8.3).
– Remove the reel belt (Pos. 20800, Fig. 8.21).
– Detach the brake return spring (Pos. 31300, Fig. 8.22).
– Undo screw (Pos. 60710) and remove the crescent slide mounting
(Pos. 60700, Fig. 8.23).
– Disengage the clamp N and remove the crescent slide (Pos. 60600,
Fig. 8.23).
Note: Before reassembling the crescent slide (Pos. 60600) the
threading roller units (Pos. 5050A and 5060A) are to be
positioned so that they are in Eject mode (Fig. 8.23). When
fitting it, lift the right side of the crescent slide (Pos. 60600)
slightly, insert the left side into the clamp N first, and align
the hole O with the pin P of the tension arm (Pos. 40400).
Notes on lubricating the crescent slide (Pos. 60600)
– Always use grease with the part number 75988 061 7800 for lubri-
cating the crescent slide (Pos. 60600) and follow the lubrication
instructions given in Fig. 8.23 and Fig. 8.24!
