WARNING
To avoid the risk of serious electrical shock or
property damage, do not cut or remove the third
(ground) prong from the power plug. A 3-wire
grounded conductor system must be used. Relying
on the flexible connector, hard piping or any other part
of the gas supply line as a ground may cause fire,
electrical shock and/or erratic control operation.
Range must be electrically grounded in accordance with
local codes or in the absence of local codes, with the
National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-Latest
Edition. In Canada, electrical connections are to made in
accordance with CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code.
Use a dedicated 120 volt, 60 hertz, 3-prong receptacle
protected by a 15 amp circuit breaker or time delay fuse.
A qualified electrician should confirm the outlet is
properly grounded.
