Accessories: Differential Screw
Clamping screw for directly clamping unfinished parts or for clam-
ping parts in combination with the 5-face reversible jaws.
Tightening torque of the differential screw 90 Nm
Warning:
If 3-point clamping is used, round parts will not lie exactly in the
centre. If you wish to maintain the centre, use 4-point clamping
instead.

Accessories: Differential Screw
Choose the clamping zone and surface based on the material
impression allowed and friction.
In combination with the differential screw, the reversible jaws can
be set fixed or movable..
Warning: Clamping with the peak. The clamping peak should be
aligned in the 45° position so that the reversible jaws tends to be
pulled towards it by the clamping; otherwise the clamping of the
work piece may loosen.
Procedure for fixing the Reversible jaws:
– Swivelling Reversible jaws:
Screw the differential screw into Universal adapter plate using tor-
que of 90 Nm. Turn the 5-face reversible jaws by hand and back to
the desired clamping surface.
– Fixed 5-Face Reversible Plate
Tighten the reversible jaws und Differential screws, so that the
Differential clamping screw protrude by about 2 mm. Choose and
adjust the clamping surface, tighten the differential clamping screw.

Accessories: Aluminium-Jaw pad
Self-centring Aluminium-Jaw pad for moulds with hold-down.
Permitted processing zones in accordance with the diagram:
– Processing the Aluminium Jaw pads.
Use the jaws by clamping an intermediate piece.
Mill the desired clamping contour.
Warning:
To ensure a more secure hold-down, the application of the clam-
ping force should occur at least 5mm under the upper edge of
the vice. We recommend milling a release jaw of 5 mm. For short
clamping heights, this release is compulsory to ensure hold-
down!
