System 4 (Heating with outside compensated temperature regulation – Cool-
ing with set point regulation - 0–10 V mixing valves with 24 V actuator)
S1
The controller monitors the room thermostat signal (RT).
If the room thermostat requests heat, the pump (R1) and R4 are acti-
vated to request heating. The temperature measured by probe S2 is
monitored.
The controller calculates a nominal flow temperature based on the out-
side temperature (S1) and the selected outside compensated tempera-
ture curve. The mixing valve is regulated to ensure that S2 reaches and
maintains the flow temperature.
The controller is protected by a non-adjustable safety shut-down. The
mixing valve is closed if the temperature measured by S2 reaches or
exceeds 90 °C.
The warning symbol appears on the display and the Lightwheel
flashes yellow. R1 and R4 are turned off if the temperature measured
by S2 reaches or exceeds 95 °C. The Lightwheel
If the TMax option is activated, a lower value can be set for the safety
shut-down. The symbol appears on the display and the Lightwheel
flashes yellow if the temperature of S2 exceeds (TMax - 5K). R1 and
R4 are turned off if the temperature of S2 exceeds TMax by more than
5 K. The Lightwheel flashes red.

If the Cooling option is activated, the mixing valve is regulated to en-
sure that S2 reaches and maintains the cooling temperature TCool. As
an option, contact S7 can be used for remote control of the heating /
cooling function.
Contact open = cooling
Contact closed = heating
If the RH% control option is active, the regulator also monitors the
humidity sensor. If the humidity sensor is in an alarm state, the cooling
function is stopped and the warning symbol appears.

R1 = Pump
R2 = Open mixing valve
R3 = Close mixing valve
R4 = Generator activation contact (voltage-free low-voltage re-
lay). If the generator has a contact with a voltage > 30 V,
use the auxiliary microswitch contacts of the mixer con-
nected to the free terminals on the 230 V -AX/AX side of the
terminal board.
