System 3 (Heating with set point regulation or with heat exchange efficiency
control – Cooling with set point regulation - 0–10 V mixing valves with 24 V
actuator)
0–10 V
The controller monitors the room thermostat signal (RT). If the room ther-
mostat requests energy, the pump (R1) and R4 are turned on to request
heating. The temperature measured by probe S2 is monitored. The mixing
valve is regulated to ensure that S2 reaches and maintains the set tem-
perature T Set.
If the TFcalculated option (return temperature control S3, factory setting
= Yes) is active, the regulator calculates the nominal flow temperature
needed to keep the system at the correct temperature. For this reason,
the return temperature (S3) is monitored. The calculated nominal flow
temperature is displayed as TFset.
The controller is protected by a non-adjustable safety shut-down. The

If the TMax option is activated, a lower value can be entered for the safety
shut-down. The symbol
appears on the display and the Lightwheel
flashes yellow if the S2 temperature exceeds (TMax - 5K). R1 and R4 are
turned off if the temperature TMax is exceeded by 5 K. The Lightwheel
flashes red.
If the Cooling option is active, the mixing valve is regulated to ensure
that S2 reaches and maintains the cooling temperature TCool. As an
option, contact S7 can be used for remote control of the heating / cooling
function.
Contact open = cooling
Contact closed = heating
If RH% control option is active, the regulator also monitors the humidity
sensor. If the humidity sensor is in an alarm state, the cooling function is
stopped and the warning symbol appears. The cooling function resumes
when the relative humidity returns within the set RH%.
