- The sprayer must not be used to spray solvents, aggressive chemical products or
petroleum products.
- Danger may result from use of products which do not comply with current regulations
concerning phyto-sanitary products.
Follow the instructions issued by the manufacturer of the spray preparation.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before making any intervention on product:
- ensure that switch is on the « OFF » position, and/or remove battery pack from product.
- unplug the charger from power supply.
6.1- Transport
WARNING!
- The pump DOES NOT stops automatically as soon as you cease to spray but remains in pressure; in the
event of prolonged stoppage, you must stop the pump and relieve the pressure by opening the spray hose.
- Always make sure the unit is turned off and the pressure is relieved from the sprayer prior to transporting.
- Always secure the sprayer when transporting to prevent it from turning over, or becoming damaged.
- Always secure the electric sprayer in an upright position when transporting and protect the hose from sharp
objects.
- It is recommended to empty the tank before transporting the sprayer.
- Always carry the sprayer upright and protect the hose from sharp objects (sharp edges or sharp points).
- If the electric sprayer is tipped over, it is likely that for the content may leak from the lid vent.
- Never transport the electric sprayer on its sides and never transport the electric sprayer with harmful
chemicals in the tank.
6.2- Cleaning and storage
Follow the maintenance and storage instructions in this manual.
When finished spraying, turn the power off by pressing the switch button and with the wand pointed in a
safe direction, squeeze the trigger to relieve the pressure.
Carefully unscrew the hose connection to handle to expose the strainer.
Remove the strainer and clear it of any debris by placing it under running water.
Replace the strainer and hose connection, tightening it firmly.
Pour any remaining contents of the tank into an appropriate storage container for future use or dispose of it
in accordance with local regulations.
Clean the tank and other exterior surfaces of your electric sprayer by wiping with a damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents to clean the tank and exterior surfaces as they may cause
deterioration.
6.2.1- Cleaning the tank
When flushing the tank it is recommended that you follow the instructions of chemical manufacturer for the
chemical you are spraying.
Failure to do so can result in damage to humans and the environment.
It is safe to use most flushing solutions recommended by your chemical dealer so long as the solution is
formulated for use with sprayers and does not include flammable or petroleum products.
