Valve terminal type CPA..−ASI−4E4A−Z has been designed
exclusively for controlling pneumatic actuators and is only
suitable for use in bus systems in accordance with the
AS−Interface specifications. If additional commercially−
available components such as sensors and actuators are
connected, the specifiedlimits for pressures, tempera
tures, electrical data, torques, etc. must be observed.
Valve terminal type CPA..−ASI−4E4A−Z enables 4 valve sole
noid coils and 4 sensors to be controlled.
AS−Interface bus systems and valve terminals may only be
installed by personnel especially trained for this purpose.

bus system can be found in the manual for your AS−Inter
face master.
Detailed information on the pneumatic components of the
valve terminal can be found in the Pneumatics manual

Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Commission only a valve terminal which has been
fitted and wired completely.
S Switch on the power supply only if the DIL switch is
positioned at a permitted setting. Only the DIL switch
settings listed under section 3.1 are permitted.
