Getting started

1. Plug the power plug into the power socket.
2. Plug the blue tube for the left pad into the left connection (blue).
Plug the green tube for the right pad into the right connection
(green).
3. Attach the VADOplex pads and make sure that they are positioned
properly (see user manual supplied with pressure sleeves). The
pads are to be used for one patient only and may neither be used
for several patients nor refurbished. Plug the metal pin of the
connector tube to the pad tube. Connect the blue tube for the left
pad to the blue tube of the controller (left). Connect the green
tube for the right pad to the green tube of the controller (right).
4. Switch on the power switch.
Note After switching on the controller, the system starts the
self-check and when self-check is completed the device is ready
for operation and show on the display:
5. Press the start/stop button to start the therapy. By pressing the
start/stop button during therapy, you can interrupt the procedure
for a break. Pressing the button again reactivates the device.
Instruction for use • Footpad
Apply a stockinette or stockings to
prevent skin irritations. Avoid wrinkles.
Place foot as shown by graphic in
the Pad. Note Left and Right side.
The inflation chamber must be
directly under the arch of the foot.
Wrap the inside of the sleeve over the
top of the foot. Cross the sides of the
sleeve around the bridge of the foot
as well and tighten them. Secure with
the Velcro strap.
The connecting tube must be on the
inside of the foot.
Guide the heel strap around the heel
and secure with the Velcro strap at the
outside front. Wrap the Velcro strap
around the sole of the foot.
The sleeves (Pads) are for single patient
use only. Using them for more than one
patient or refurbishing them can cause
spreading infection chains and wound
infections.
The function of the sleeves could be
reduced and limit the therapeutic effect.
CAUTION: Once the treatment phase is complete, used
pads should be disposed in household waste. Do not
send any used pads when returning the controller.
Tubes should be included by the controller.
