Safety notes

Do not use the VADOplex system without having received a
technical instruction on its use!
WARNING: Before switching the device on to using it for
therapy, make sure to read and understand the manual and
test the application of the device. Always be aware of the
limits and risks when using the device. Make sure to observe
all preventive safety and operation instructions attached to
the device.
WARNING: No modification of this equipment is allowed.
WARNING: Do not use a non-confirmed power wire. If you
change unauthorized a power wire which is not explicit
confirmed by the manufacturer, the license for this devise
will be expire.
WARNING: Pay special attention when using the device on
or in the presence of children.
WARNING: Do not use the VADOplex system for purposes
other than those described in this manual.
WARNING: Never pull at the cable to disconnect the device
from the power supply but always take the cable at its plug.
WARNING: Make sure to have the device switched off before
leaving it unsupervised.
WARNING: When carrying, transporting and storing the
VADOplex system, take care not to damage the system by
dropping it or by transporting or storing it incorrectly.
WARNING: Do not use the VADOplex system outside or
on wet surfaces.
WARNING: Do not use the VADOplex system in the vicinity of
flammable anesthetic mixtures with air, oxygen or nitrous
oxide. Make sure that the device is positioned on a solid and
flat surface providing the necessary stability when in use.
WARNING: Parts of the device could burn or catch fire if
exposed to an ignition source.
WARNING: Do not smoke during use of the VADOplex system
and do not expose it to open fires.
WARNING: The VADOplex system is designed in a way
protecting it from being affected by incontinence.
Nonetheless, preventive measures to avoid the device from
coming into contact with fluids should be taken.
WARNING: Always make sure to unplug the supply cable
before maintenance and cleaning tasks are performed. Not
unplugging it could cause electric shock or injuries.
WARNING: Only use the device if it is dry and only if your
hands are dry to avoid the risk of electric shock due to
humidity.
WARNING: Do not use the VADOplex system as a toy.
Safety notes
WARNING: The openings on the device rear side are
for ventilation purposed and protect the device from
overheating. It is thus not permitted to cover these openings.
WARNING: Risk of suffocation and strangulation Keep the
cables/tubes away from children and pets.
WARNING: If you feel sick or if you experience any discomfort
when operating the device, consult your doctor immediately.
WARNING: Keep children and pets away from the cables.
Otherwise, cables could be damaged, causing a defect in
the device power supply.
WARNING: The system is at risk of exploding if used in the
presence of flammable anesthetic gases. Always ensure that
the system is not used in the vicinity of sources of danger.
WARNING: The VADOplex System must not be used on
animals.
WARNING against replacement with unauthorized parts and
the related risk. Only use authorized parts, accessories from
the manufacturer. Related risks are: electrical shock, fire, skin
irritation, disappointment of treatment, cross contamination
from patient to patient through the pads.
WARNING: Wireless communications equipment such as
wireless home network devices, mobile phones, cordless
telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies can affect
this equipment. Please have always a minimum distance
between the VADOplex Controller and the listed devices
from 1,2 meters.
