Starting self clean
Requirement: You have carried out the steps for prepar-
ing the oven for self clean →  Page 39 .
Turn the mode selection knob to CLEAN MODES.

Easy clean
This function makes it easier to clean the bottom of the
oven cavity. Food and food spills are soaked and can then
be removed more easily.
Setting easy clean for the conventional oven
CAUTION
Hot steam can arise due to water in the hot oven cavity.
Never pour water into the hot oven cavity.
Note: Do not open the appliance door during operation, or
the function will be interrupted.
Requirement: The oven cavity has cooled off.
Place the wire rack on level 3. Remove all other racks

Mix 2 cups of water and ½ cup of vinegar into the

Clean the oven cavity manually as soon as it has cooled

NOTICE:
Moisture in the oven cavity can cause damage to the sur-
faces.
Remove remaining water from the oven cavity promptly.
Do not leave the remaining water in the oven cavity for
a long time, for example overnight.

moved using a soft scouring pad.
Remove limescale with a cloth soaked in vinegar and

soft cloth; also dry under the door seal.
Turn the appliance off.

Leave the appliance door ajar in the stop position (ap-

prox. 30°) for about one hour to allow the enamel sur-
faces in the oven cavity to dry thoroughly.

Cleaning the oven cavity

Carry out the following steps after every use,. The steam
oven cavity can rust if not properly cared for.
CAUTION
Exercise caution when opening the appliance. Standing to
the side, open the door slowly and only slightly to let hot
air and/or steam escape.
Keep your face clear of the opening and make sure
there are no children or pets near the unit.
After the hot air and/or steam is released, proceed with
your cooking.
Keep the appliance door shut unless necessary for
cooking or cleaning purposes.
Do not leave the open appliance door unattended.
Leave the oven door open in the "at-rest" position, until

the oven cavity has cooled down.
Empty and dry the water tank.

Burned on residue is very difficult to remove at a later
