A smartphone or tablet is equipped with the latest ver-

sion of iOS or Android operating system.
Your home appliance is within the Wi-Fi signal of your

home network.
You have the name of your Wi-Fi network (SSID) and

its password (key) or access to the WPS button on your
Wi-Fi router.
Downloading the Home Connect™ app and creating
a user account
Open the App Store (Apple® devices) or Google Play™

Swipe to select "Home Connect".

Touch "Start assistant".
3.
Open the Home Connect™ app.

Touch "Start connection".
5.
Follow the instructions in the Home Connect™ app.

Wait until "Network connection successful" is displayed.

Note: A router that has WPS functionality is required.
Press SETTINGS.

Swipe to select "Home Connect".
2.
Touch "Start assistant".
3.
Touch "Start connection".
4.
Touch "Connect via WPS".
5.
Within 2 minutes press the WPS button on the router.
6.
Wait until "Network connection successful" is displayed.
12.2 Remote start
If you want to start an oven operation using your mobile
device, you must activate Remote Start.
WARNING
REMOTE OPERATION This appliance is configurable to
allow remote operation at any time.
Do not store any flammable materials or temperature

sensitive items inside, on top or near surface units of
the appliance.

Notes
For some models a permanent Remote start can be ac-
¡
tivated via the Home Connect™ app. This function al-
lows a remote start of the available operating modes
without automatically deactivating Remote start.
Remote start can only be activated if the Home Con-
¡
nect™ set-up has been successfully completed.
Some operating modes can only be started on the oven
¡
itself.
Setting remote start
Turn the mode selection knob to REMOTE START.

When you start the oven operation on the appliance, re-

mote start is automatically activated. You can make
changes from your mobile device or start a new opera-
tion.
Note: If set to manual for remote control level, REMOTE
START must be enabled the day you intend to use it.
Opening the oven door after enabling REMOTE START
will deactivate it in certain circumstances. If so, pressing
REMOTE START will enable it again.
12.3 Home Connect™ settings
Adapt Home Connect™ to your needs.
You can find the Home Connect™ settings in the basic
settings for your appliance. Which settings the display
shows will depend on whether Home Connect™ has been
set up and whether the appliance is connected to your
home network.
Activating or deactivating Wi-Fi
You can use the Home Connect™ functions, if Wi-Fi is ac-
tivated.
Press SETTINGS.

Swipe to select "Home Connect".

Press "Open settings".
3.
Swipe to select "Wifi".
4.
Swipe to "Off" for turning Wi-Fi off, or "On" for turning

Wi-Fi on.
Disconnecting from the network
Press SETTINGS.

Swipe to select "Home Connect".
2.
Touch "Open settings".
3.
Swipe to select "Disconnect".
4.
Touch "Disconnect from network".
5.
Touch "Disconnect" to confirm.
6.
All connections are deleted.
