3. Explanation of symbols

A lightning symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger
of electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in hand-
ling, operating or controlling the product.
The hand symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

4. Safety instructions

The warranty/guarantee is rendered void in cases of damage
resulting from failure to comply with these operating instructi-
ons! We assume no liability for any consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal
injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety
instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
• The system components must not be modified or rebuilt, as
not only the CE approval will become void but also the war-
ranty/guarantee.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme tem-
peratures, direct sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechani-
cal stress.
• If the devices are used in connection with other devices, e.g.
an additional monitor or a video recorder, the operating
instructions and safety instructions of the connected devices
must also be observed.
• The operation of this surveillance camera system does not
replace personal supervision of children or people who requi-
re special assistance, but serves only as a support to this
supervision.
