WAY OF FUNCTIONNING
This device controls the salt chlorinator production thanks to redox potential measure (ORP potential).
The redox understanding is sometimes tricky and often entails bad performances of the good functioning
of the device.
The redox measure in mV and informs about the sanitary quality of water.
According to several water parameters (particularly : the pH, the TAC, the rate of the stabilizing agent and
the general quality of water), the redox potential will not give the same corresponding of chlorine.
Then, a redox controller is not a chlorine regulator.
To maintain an optimum quality of the water, the redox method works on a reference space and compared
to the instruction point.
The chlorine pool demand varying constantly and the salt chlorinator process being slow, the redox value
measured by the device will be often different of the wished instruction value .
If by measuring regularly you notice a lack or an excess of chlorine (every pool water is different), calibrate
the redox instruction ; this to obtain an ideal value.
Check beforehand that the water parameters are imperatively respected.
