Risidual risks
Even if used properly, residual risks can exist even if
the relevant safety regulations are complied with due
to the design determined by the intended purpose.
Observing these instructions, and taking proper care,
will reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to
the equipment.
• Injury by catapulted parts.
• Breaking or catapulting of knife pieces.
• Carbon monoxide poisioning when using the de-
vice in closed or poorly ventilated rooms.
• Burning when touching hot parts.
• Impairment of hearing when working on the ma-
chine for longer periods of time without ear pro-
tection.
In addition, in spite of all the precautionary measures
taken, non-obvious residual risks can still exist. Re-
sidual risks can be minimised if the "Safety informa-
tion" and the "Intended usage" as well as the whole
of the operating instructions are observed.

7. Attachment and operation

ATTENTION! Before working on the device - clean-
ing, inspection, maintenance or other work - always
turn off the device.
Assembly (Fig. 6 - 6c)
m WARNING: The blower must not be used or
switched on until it has been fully assembled.
• Attach the two hose clamps (17A and 17B) to the
flexible blowpipe (12).
• Push the flexible blowpipe (12) over the connection
to the motor unit and tighten the hose clamp (17B)
firmly (Fig. 6).
• Now push the handle (1) over the upper blowpipe
(13). Align the handgrip (1) and the guide in the
same way, fold it together and then tighten it (Fig.
6a).
• Push the upper blowpipe into the flexible blow hose
(12) with the handle and fix it with the hose clamp
(17A) (Fig. 6b).
• Push the lower blowpipe (14) over the upper blow-
pipe (13) and lock it in the clockwise direction (Fig.
6c)
• The blower nozzle (No. 15) is simply pushed over
the lower blowpipe (No. 14) and locked in the clock-
wise direction (Fig. 6c).

placement parts, accessories and attachments. Fail-
ure to do so can cause poor performance, possible

machine without the guard assembled!
