DESCRIPTION –OPERATIONS
The PROFROID GQ condensing unit is made up primarily of:
-
1 or 2 COPELAND hermetic scroll compressor ZB or ZF (standard or digital following models),
-
1 air-cooled condenser with 2 helicoid fans (T1 to T4) or 2 fans with EC motors (T5),
-
1 liquid receiver, 1 safety valve following volume, 1 filter drier, 1 sight glass, 1 muffler on discharge line,
-
1 electrical cabinet, 1 main switch,
-
safety : 1 high and 1 low pressure switches per compressor
-
control : suction side :1 low pressure switch per compressor or specific controller (models with digital compressor)
-
discharge side : 1 electronic fan speed controller (HP control).
Unit power supply :
400V ±10% / 3 + N / 50Hz (Neutral EN as standard + neutral + Earth
The set-up is mounted on a galvanised folded, sheet steel frame, with white painted sheet metal side panels.
The unit is specially designed to reduce noise and vibration.
The unit can be provided with remote electronic controller PROCOLD (optional).
The QUIETOR range is divided in two parts :
Medium temperature : -20°C -> +5°C
Low temperature : -40°C -> -20°C
HFC fluids : R404A/R507A/R134A/R407F/R407A/R407C/R422A/R417A/R448A/R449A.
Options :
Room control by remote electronic controller.
Special coating in corrosive atmosphere (by Blygold protection).
Waterproof remote control box (on-off switch, light,
5 m of cable).
Oil separator
Oil separator+ traxoil+oil receiver 4liters for TWIN models only.
Desuperheater
Manometers
Electronic controller for LP and HP
Floating HP (to be combine with option electronic controller).
SCROLL DIGITAL VERSION
This device is able to modulate capacity between 10 and 100% (by separating the scroll set axially over a short period of time
Capacity is controlled by specific controller function of suction pressure EC2-552 (find attached notice) or XC 645 (option electronic
controller)
This technology is interesting for multiple evaporators' installations and for applications requiring precise temperature control.

INSTALLATION
HANDLING
Units size 1 & 2:
Unit must be handle by elevator
Units size 3, 4 and 5:
Units have 4 attachment lugs for handling (situated on 4 frame angles).
During handling of condensing units with a crane, lifting hooks will be fix to the 4 attachments lugs.
SPECIFIC INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
The unit must be put and fixed to a ground plan supporting the weight of the unit (4 points of fixation are foreseen).
Any other mounting will have to be the object of a study of structure adapted to the frame of the unit.
