Operating conditions
The RCM Inline Meter may be operated only under the operating conditions listed in section 9 "Tech-
nical specifications".
3.4
Base configuration
As standard, the RCM is activated to automatically obtain an IPv4 address from a DHCP server in the
network. If no DHCP server is available, the following base configuration is preset:

If the RCM cannot be included in the network with these settings, they can be changed via the display
or the RCM website (see Section 6).

Assembly notes
The RCM Inline Meter is designed for installation within the 482.6 mm (19") level. The assembly com-
ponents required for straightforward installation are included with the supply.

Installation and operation of the RCM
5.1
Operating and display elements
The operating and display elements are shown in fig. 5. The display direction and the assignment of the
four keys at the side of the display will align correctly regardless of the RCM's orientation. The actual
assignment of the keys is shown correctly on the display.
