Function of the device
The laser distance measuring device creates a red laser beam. Aim the laser at the point
whose distance from the device you want to determine. The laser beam is reflected back
to the device. The device measures and analyses the reflected beam and calculates the
distance.

Before using the machine

Fitting and changing the batteries
The device is battery operated, 2x 1.5V LR03/AAA-batteries are required.
The batteries must be fitted before the device is used for the first time. The batteries must
be changed when the device can no longer be switched on or when the battery status
light is flashing. Proceed as follows:

Unscrew the fixing screw from the
battery compartment cover with the
provided screwdriver.

Remove the battery compartment cover.
Lift the cover at the bottom end first and
subsequently remove it.
