Using the device

Measuring distance

The laser comes on when you turn the device ON. If the laser turns itself off after thirty
seconds simply press the ON button (1) to reactivate the laser. Press the ON button (1)
again to start a new measurement. The distance shows up on the display.
In case of multiple measurements, the previously measured values will scroll up the
display. Pressing the OFF button (10) will delete the most recent measurement. The
previously taken measurement scrolls back down again. Press the OFF button
continuously to clear all displayed values.
Caution: The laser will switch off after every measurement. Push the ON
button (1) to reactivate the laser for further measurements.
Max. / Min. distance range function
This measuring function detects the points closest or furthest away from the point of
measurement. The device or measured objects may be moved during the measurement.
The measured value is updated approx. every 0.5 seconds. The latest value is displayed
in the third line.
The maximum and minimum values remain displayed in the first two lines. For example
the user can move towards and away from a wall to get a real time distance measurement
displayed in the third line.
Press the Max/Min button (4) for approx. three seconds to turn the distance range
function ON. Press the ON button (1) or the OFF button (10) to turn the distance range
function OFF. The distance range function will turn off automatically after 100
measurements. Pressing the OFF button (10) a second time will delete the range
measurement,
