3. START-UP
! These thermometers function with K-type thermocouple
probes only.
■ Connect the probe(s) to the thermometer in T1 or T1 and T2.
■ Press ON and release (if the "battery low" symbol in the
bottom left of the screen is displayed continuously, change
the battery).
■ Put the probe in contact with the temperature measuring
environment (ensure compliance with probe specifications).
■ Wait a few seconds (see probe response time).
■ Read the measurement value when the reading has
stabilised.
The TK2002 gives the value for thermocouple T1. LED "T1"
goes off and LED "T2" comes on when the measurement switch
button is pressed. Temperature on T2 is displayed and if there
is no T2 thermocouple, the unit displays 1000 with the number
1 flashing.
LED "T2" goes off and LED "T2-T1" comes on when the
measurement switch button is pressed again. The T2-T1
temperature difference is displayed and if there is no T2
thermocouple, the unit displays 1000 with the number 1 flashing.
