6. Take one completed side of the Subframe assembly and attach the Top Support 2
(27) using the square hole adjacent to where the Top Support 1 is attached, (see
image V). Repeat for the opposite side
7. Take the completed side of the Subframe assembly and attach the Lower Support 2
(26) using the square hole adjacent to where the Lower Support 1 is attached (see
image VI). Repeat for the opposite side
8. Stand and align both sides of the Subframe assembly (see image VII)
9. Fix the two Subframe pieces together to form the Subframe
10. Attach the Rubber Foot (16) to the bottom of the Subframe legs, (see image VIII)
11. The completed Subframe should look like this (see image IX)
Note: To ensure a secure, flat Subframe (3), place the Subframe on a flat surface and
loosen all coach bolts on the legs to adjust the stance. Use a spirit level to determine the
Subframe is flat, then once the Subframe is aligned correctly, tighten all of the bolts.
Table Saw Assembly
WARNING: Ensure the blade is fully retracted before assembly. Not doing so may cause
harm or damage the equipment. For instructions on how to adjust the blade height, see

'Blade adjustment'.

1. Position the Table Saw (4) face down to reveal the Underside Cover (3). Remove the
Hex Bolts (X) from the transport mounting holes, and remove the underside cover
(see image X)
2. With the Underside Cover removed, remove the polystyrene transport packing from
inside the table saw
3. Place the (Hex bolts) aside and rotate the underside cover 90° to align the Subframe
mounting holes, (see image XI)
4. Position the Subframe (3) face down on to the underside of the (top frame). Align the
mounting holes on the top of the Subframe (see image XII) and fasten the Subframe
to the (top frame) using the (Hex bolts) removed in step 1 (see image XIII).
5. Tighten the Push-Stick Hanger (19) into the Table Saw
6. Turn the assembly over onto its feet to continue assembly.
Table extension assembly
1. Position Extension Fixing Screws (X) in accordance with the corresponding cut-outs
in the Rear Bench Extension (X), (see image XIV)
2. Fasten the Rear Bench Extension to the Table Saw (X) at the mounting points
(see image XV).
3. Position the Rear Support Bracket (X) so the holes align with the mounting points on
the Table Saw and the Rear Bench Extension. Fasten the Rear Support Bracket into
place as shown in (image XVI). Repeat for the other side.
4. Installation of the Side Bench Extension (X) replicates the instructions provided in
'steps 1-4' for the Rear Bench Extension. The components used differ; the Rear
Bench Extension is replaced with the Side Bench Extension, and the Rear Support
Bracket is replaced with Side Support Bracket (20). Installation procedure applies
to both sides.
Table surface assembly
1. Fit the Saw Blade Guard (9) to the Riving Knife (8) by pushing in the Locking Tab
(see image X) and sliding the tab into the saw blade guard mounting point on the
Riving Knife.
2. Attach the Dust Extraction Adaptor (5) to the dust extraction port on the Saw Blade
Guard, and to the Dust Extraction Port (21) at the rear of the Table Saw
(see image XVII)
3. Slide the Rip Fence (10) on to the Rip Fence Guide (12) at the front of the Table
Surface (6) (See image XVIII)
4. Slide the Mitre Fence (40) into the guide slot on the (Table Surface 6)
(See image XXII)
5. To lock the Rip Fence into position turn the locking knob clockwise, (see image XIX)
Blade adjustment
WARNING: The Locking knob should ALWAYS be in the locked position unless performing
an adjustment task. When adjusting the machine ensure that the power is off and the
machine is disconnected from the mains.
1. There are 3 associated mechanisms involved with blade adjustment; the Blade
Locking Knob (13) ensures that adjustments are locked into place, (see image XX)
2. To set the cutting depth, the Height Adjustment Wheel (14) moves the blade in the
horizontal plane. Rotating the Height Adjustment Wheel anti-clockwise raises the
blade whilst turning the Height Adjustment Wheel clockwise lowers the blade into
the Table Saw (4)
3. Angle adjustment is performed by turning the Angle Adjustment Handle (15).
The angle can be changed from 90° (perpendicular to the Bench) to 45°, the angle is
displayed with adjustment markings below the Angle Adjustment Handle,
(see image XXI).
Dust extractor attachment
• Attach a suitable dust extraction machine to the Dust Extraction Port (22) at the rear
of the table saw
Operation
WARNING: ALWAYS wear eye protection, adequate respiratory and hearing protection, as
well as suitable gloves, when working with this tool.
Switching on and off
Note: This table saw features a fast access emergency stop button, enabling the machine
to be switched off by pressing the emergency stop switch plate.
• The On/Off Switch (2) is located on the front of the table saw (see image X)
• To turn the table saw ON, pull the emergency stop switch plate up (see image X), and
press the green ON button
• To turn the table saw OFF, push the switch plate down
• The On switch is kept behind the Emergency Stop Button (1) to minimise the chance
of accidental misuse
Performing a cross cut
WARNING: NEVER handle the part of workpiece that is near the blade whilst the blade is
in motion or whilst the power is ON. Doing so may cause the workpiece to be ejected from
the machine and could cause harm to the operator.
WARNING: To avoid the cut-off part of the workpiece being thrown, avoid restricting the
workpiece using the rip fence. Use the mitre fence to support the workpiece during the
cutting procedure.
WARNING: Keep both hands away from the blade and the cutting path at all times.
WARNING: NEVER attempt to pull the workpiece back during the cutting process; turn the
machine off and wait for the blade to stop rotating before removing the part-cut specimen.
1. Position the Rip Fence (10) away from the path of the workpiece. Adjust the Mitre
Fence (40) to the desired angle, and lock into position
2. Position the blade so the highest point is approximately 3.2mm higher than the top
of the workpiece
3. Hold the workpiece firmly against the Mitre Fence using the hand closest to the
blade, and position the other hand on the part of the workpiece furthest from the
blade for support
4. Turn the table saw on and allow the blade to reach the operating speed
5. Whilst using both hands to support the workpiece, as described in 'step 3', slowly
feed the workpiece into the blade
Note: Before removing the cut-off part of the workpiece, turn the saw off and wait for the
blade to stop rotating.
Performing a mitre cut
WARNING: NEVER handle the part of workpiece that is near the blade whilst the blade is
in motion or whilst the power is ON. Doing so may cause the workpiece to be ejected from
the machine and could cause harm to the operator.

Performing a rip cut
WARNING: Ensure that the rip fence is used when performing rip cuts, performing
free-hand cuts is dangerous. ALWAYS check that the fence is securely locked into position
before performing cuts.
WARNING: When performing rip cuts and whenever possible, keep hands clear of the
blade and use a push stick to feed the workpiece if there is less than 152mm between the
fence and the blade.
WARNING: NEVER attempt to pull the workpiece back during the cutting process. Turn the
machine off and wait for the blade to stop rotating before removing the part-cut specimen.
1. Adjust and lock the Rip Fence by turning the Locking Knob situated at the front of
the Rip Fence clockwise
2. Remove the Mitre Fence (40)
3. Position the blade so the highest point is approx. 3.2mm higher than the top of the
workpiece
4. Hold the workpiece flat on the table and against the fence. Keep the workpiece at
least 25mm away from the blade.
5. Switch the table saw on and allow the blade to reach the operating speed
6. Whilst holding the workpiece against the fence and flat to the table, slowly feed
the workpiece through the saw blade. Maintain an even pushing force until the
entire workpiece has passed through the saw blade. Use the Push-Stick (30)to
continue feeding the workpiece through the blade when the trailing edge is less
than 150mm away
