y) ALWAYS switch the saw table off before disconnecting it from the power supply.
This avoids accidental starting upon reconnecting to the power supply.
z) ALWAYS wear suitable cut proof gloves when handling the table saw blade. Not
doing so may result in cuts, or harm to the operator.
Kickback Prevention
Note: Kickback occurs when the blade stalls rapidly, as a result of being pinched, bound
or misaligned, and drives the workpiece back towards the operator. It can also pull the
operator's hand into the blade, resulting in serious injury.
WARNING: Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures
or conditions; however, if precautions are taken, kickback forces can be controlled by the
operator, or avoided altogether:
a) ALWAYS use the saw with the riving knife ( 'spreader') installed. NEVER remove the
riving knife, to prevent the kerf from closing on to the blade.
b) NEVER attempt to cut with a dull or warped blade. ALWAYS ensure the blade is
suitable for the material to be cut.
c) ALWAYS ensure the rip fence is parallel to the blade. If the fence tilts inward towards
the blade, the workpiece may come into contact with the back edge of the blade, and
may be thrown back towards the user uncontrollably as a result.
d) NEVER use the rip fence and mitre gauge simultaneously. This can lead to serious
kickback and severe injury.
e) Use CAUTION when cutting large sheets. Ensure larger stock is properly supported by
adequate in-feed and out-feed supports.
f) DO NOT cut round stock or workpieces that cannot lay flat on the table. Avoid
cutting twisted, distorted or knotty wood.
g) DO NOT cut wet wood, as it produces higher friction against the saw blade. Wet
sawdust can accumulate on the blade, further increasing the likelihood of kickback.
h) ALWAYS maintain a firm grip on the workpiece, with both hands, and position
your arms to resist kickback forces.
i) Stay out of blade path and position your body to either side of the blade, but not
in line with the blade.
j) DO NOT back out of the cut. If you have to interrupt a cut before it is complete, switch
the saw off, and remove the workpiece from the saw, once the blade has stopped
spinning.
k) PREVENT workpieces from dropping on to the blade. DO NOT attempt to perform
plunge cuts with your table saw.
l) ALWAYS use push sticks or push block where appropriate, to guide the workpiece
through the blade. Use feather boards to hold down the workpiece wherever possible

Intended Use

Mains Powered 1.6kW Table Saw for performing rip, mitre and cross cuts. A 40-tooth
254mm ATB (alternate top bevel) blade provides clean and fast cuts through a variety of
wood types. Precision guidance for the workpiece is provided from the adjustable mitre
and rip fences.

Unpacking Your Tool

WARNING: This device is very heavy and should NOT be unpacked and handled by a
single person.
• Carefully unpack and inspect your new sander. Familiarise yourself with all its features
and functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are
missing or damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool

Before Use

WARNING: Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before attaching or
changing any accessories, or making any adjustments.
WARNING: This device is very heavy and should NOT be assembled by a single person.
Note: When assembling the table saw using the provided; Coach Bolts (39), Screws (38),
Nuts (35), Crush Washers (36), and Flat Washers (37). Use only 1x Crush Washer, 1x Flat
Washer per Nut and Bolt/Screw fixing.
Subframe Assembly
1. Position the Table Legs and Support Beams on a secure flat surface and allocate the
required fixings for assembly
2. Place the Table Leg (29) on a secure flat surface and align Top Support 1 (25) square
hole with the table leg upper square hole
3. Insert the Coach bolt (39) through the square hole of the Table Leg and the Top
Support 1 and fasten into place using the Coach Bolt, Flat Washer (37), Crush
Washer (36) and the Nut (35) provided (see image I)
4. Align the Lower Support 1 (28) with the corresponding square holes on the Table
Leg and fasten into place using the Coach Bolt provided for correct orientation
(see image II)
5. Attach the opposite Table Leg to form one side of the Subframe (3) assembly, (see
image III). Once complete, repeat for the opposite side (see image IV)
Note: The support brackets used to assemble the Subframe are NOT symmetrical
in length. Make sure the support brackets are paired and installed parallel to each
other
