5.0.1 WHEN THE MACHINE lS NEW
- After the first hours of work check that all the bolts are still tight.
- Lubricate the transmission chains.
- Check the tightness of the bolts on the listers.
5.0.2 AT THE BIGINNING OF THE SEEDING SEASON
- Operate the empty seeding machine, the air-flow frees the pipes
from condensation and removes eventual impurities (Fig. 61).
- Lubricate the transmission chains.
- Make sure that the transmission rotates freely without any
interferences.
5.0.3 EVERY 20/30 WORKING HOURS
- Check the tightness of the bolts on the listers.
- Lubricate the transmission chains.
- Lubricate the row marker discs and the arm of the seed cover
harrow.
- Check the fan-belt tension
The tensioning and good condition of the belt are therefore of
vital importance to ensure the good for the good operation of
the aspirator and, hence, the success of the sowing.
Adjust the tensioning with the knob (1, Fig. 62).
Replace the belts if they present signs of wear or aging.
Replace the transmission belts every 400 hectares tilled!

5.0.4 EVERY 50 WORKING HOURS
- Clean the distributor carefully and thoroughly.
- Thoroughly clean the entire distribution head (Fig. 63) as follows:
• loosen and remove the wing nuts (F);
• remove the cover on the distributor (G);
• clean metal parts with a brush and plastic parts with a cloth;
• put the cover back in place and close it with the wing nuts.
- Grease the row marker arm pin.
- Grease the folding arm supports of the frame.
- Check the oil level in the gearbox and top up to level (Fig. 64,
«H») whenever necessary using the same type of oil (ACER
22) whenever possible.
5.0.5 EVERY SIX MONTHS
- Grease the bevel gear pair of the Cardan shaft.
5.0.6 PERIODICALLY
- Check the pressure of the seed drill tyres:
tyres 13.0/55-16AW
5.0.7 EVERY 400 WORKING HOURS
- Change the speed change gear oil completely with ACER 22 -
type oil (2 Kg):
- oil drainage plug (I, Fig. 64);
- oil filling plug (L, Fig. 64).
5.0.8 EVERY FIVE YEARS
- To replace all the tubes of the hydraulic systems.
