INSTALLATION

POWER SUPPLY:

For portable use, the parents-unit can be powered by batteries (not supplied).
Open the battery-compartment and insert the batteries as indicated in the bat-
tery-compartment (3x 1,5V AAA)
For non-portable use, the baby-unit and the parents-unit can be powered by the
supplied power-adapters.
BELTCLIP:
With the aid of the beltclip the parents-unit can be easily carried on a belt.
REMARKS:
Power supply: A power adapter is included for the baby-unit and for the parents-
unit as well. The power adapters are of the same type.
Battery use: When the set is battery-operated, the use of ALKALINE batteries is
recommendable. Also rechargeable batteries can be installed but they have to be
recharged in separate chargers. The DBX-69 has no provision to charge these
batteries.
When the set is not in use for a longer period, please remove the batteries to
prevent leakage, which might damage the electronic circuit.
Never throw away empty batteries but hand them over to your local
depot for chemical waste.
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product
into the normal household garbage but bring the product to a collection
point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipments.
