USAGE
BABY-UNIT:
Locate the baby-unit in the room you want to guard.
Slide the A-OFF-B switch into position A to turn the baby-unit on. The POWER-
LED will light
The baby-unit is voice activated: as soon a sound is detected, the transmitter of
the baby-unit is activated and will transmit the sound.
PARENTS-UNIT:
Use the volume control on top of the receiver to switch-ON the parents-unit, the
POWER-LED will light. Slide the A-B switch into position A.
As soon as the transmitter of the baby-unit is being activated by a sound, the
receiver will switch from STAND-BY to RECEIVE and the loudspeaker will pro-
duce the sound. Control the receiver's volume with the volume controller on top
of the receiver.
The illumination of the LED's also indicates the reception. The more LED's light,
the louder the sound. This feature can be used to guard the room while the
volume is set to minimum.

NIGHTLIGHT:

Use the VOX-OFF-ON switch to control the nightlight:
VOX: the nightlight is on as soon and as long the baby-unit detects sound
OFF: the nightlight is always OFF
ON: the nightlight is always ON
CHANNEL A / B:
The channel switch is for changing the channel in case the concerned channel
is occupied by another transmitter / babyphone. The changing of the channels
need to be done on both the baby-unit and the parents-unit.
REACH:
The maximum reach of the DBX-69 is approximately 100 to 150 meters (300 to
450 ft). Be informed that large buildings, metal constructions, atmospheric distur-
bances and other wireless devices can influence this maximum reach.
