A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 2 Inside Cleats
E 2 Inner Cleats
F 2 Lower Spreader Plates
G 2 Spacer Plates
H 4 M10x65x1.5mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 2 Large Flat Washers (50mm OD)
J 2 M10x30x1.5mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
K 2 M12x30x1.75mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
L 2 Bushes (19mmOD 39mm long)
M 2 Bushes (19mmOD 30mm long)
N 2 Bushes (19mmOD 16mm long)
P 2 M12x60x1.75mm Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
CB 2 M16 x 40mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
BC 4 M10 Bolt Caps

FITTING
Remove the bumper.1 tip screw, 3 screws around the wheel arch each side, 2 'Alan' screws in the upper rear panel, 4

plastic plugs in the lower edge. Pull the side of the bumper out and pull the bumper rearwards ( the top edge of the bumper
Is held in with push fit clips). Remove the chassis end cans and cut the bumper as shown.
2. Insert Inner Cleats (E) into the open end of the chassis and loosely attach Lower Spreader Plates (F) using Bolts (J).
3. Pull back the inner trim to reveal the 3 grommets each side. Using the forward hole (H) and rear hole (P) as a guide drill
through 11mm. Insert Bushes (L, M and N) and loosely attach Inside Cleats (D) using Bolts (H) and attach forward fixing of
(F) using Bolt (H). Tighten Bolts (J) at this point.
4. Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Inner Cleats (E) using Bolts (K). Slid in Spacer Plates (G) and attach using Bolts (P). Note:
Bolt heads to be on the inside of the vehicle. Finally tighten all bolts and refit the bumper.
5. Note: The inner side panel trim is held of the floor by the towbar fixing bolts. If this present a problem, cone cut holes in the
inner trim to allow the bolt heads to come though and cover the bolt heads with the bolt caps provided.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
