10.2 General Safety information
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Please observe the following general safety notices with regard to
the safe handling of the device.
► Examine the device for any visible external damages prior to using it.
Never put a damaged device into operation.
► If the connection lead is damaged, you will need to have a new
connection lead installed by an authorized electrician.
► This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years or older and by
persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacities if they
are supervised appropriately or have been instructed in the safe
operation of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
► This appliance is not a toy. Children under the age of 8 years or
unsupervised children may not clean the appliance or carry out any
other work on the appliance.
► Keep the appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under
the age of 8 years.
► Do not use utensils that are not suitable for the use in microwave
appliances.
► The appliance should be cleaned regularly and all food residues
removed after each use.
► Read and follow the instructions on "Danger due to microwaves".
► The appliance may only be installed or fitted according to the
instructions attached.
► This appliance is intended for use in households and other situations
as listed below:

- staff kitchens and pantries in businesses, offices and similar
workplaces;

- guest rooms in hotels, motels and similar residential environments;

- farm houses;

- bed and breakfast type establishments.
► Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation.
► Do not operate the oven if it is empty. This could damage the device.
► The device is not intended for drying, warming up or heating up living
animals.
► Food thermometers are unsuitable to be used when the microwave is
in operation.
