Exchange of the D1S / D2S bulb:
Please observe the following safety instructions when replaving the xenon-bulb.
- Always switch off the worklamp ballast before exchanging the D1S / D2S bulb and disconnect
the power supply.
- Allow the venon-bulb to cool off.
- The glass body of the xenon-bulb is filled with various gasses and metal gasses under pressure
(danger of splintering).
- Wear safety goggles and gloves when exchanging the xenon-bulb.
- Dispose of used xenon-bulbs as hazardous waste.
- Always use the ballast in combination with the D1S / D2S bulb which is placed inside the closed
worklamp.
- Never touch the glass bulb of the xenon-bulb, touch the xenon-bulb at its base only.
Use a clean cloth and alcohol to remove any fingerprints from the glass bulb carefully.
- Connect the D1S /D2S bulb securely in the connector. Incomplete connection can result in damage
to the product or other equipment, oe electric shock.
- The ballast operation is stopped within 1 second if the D1S / D2S bulb is not connected properly.
