Performing measurements

Single distance measurement
Press the button to enable the laser. The laser sym-
b o l appears in the display, and the red laser dot
appears on the surface the laser measuring device is poin-
ted at. Press the button again to start the measuring acti-
on. The measured values are shown directly in the display.
Permanent measurement
Press and hold down the button until the laser sym-
bol is permanently shown in the display and you hear
an audible signal. Each time you press the button again, a
distance measurement is performed. You can switch the
permanent measurement function on or off by again hol-
ding down the button.
When the device is permanent measuring mode, it
switches off automatically if it is not used for 3 minutes.
Permanent measurement (tracking)
and min/max measurement
For permanent measurement, the device is pointed at
the object to be measured; the measured values are then
updated every 0.5 seconds.
The corresponding minimum and maximum values are
shown dynamically in the first and second lines.
For a permanent measurement in min/max mode, to
determine the shortest and longest distance, hold down
the button. To interrupt the permanent measure-
ment, either press the or button.
The permanent measurement function is automatically
terminated after triggering 100 measurements.
