Waste resulting from the unpacking and dismantling of equip-
ment must be handed over to a waste manager or be treated
according to the legislation in force in the country of installa-
tion.
Different countries have different laws on environmental pro-
tection, therefore you must observe the regulations imposed
by the laws and institutions of the country where dismantling
takes place.
This symbol indicates that equipment must not be disposed
of at the end of its life, as urban waste, but handed over to
suitable authorized collection centres. All materials must be re-
covered or disposed of in accordance with national regulations
for the material.
Dismantling of refrigeration equipment must be performed by
a refrigeration company. Before dismantling an installation ex-
tract the refrigerant to an absolute pressure of 0.6bar, recove-
ring the coolant and other contaminants prior to end removal.
In any case avoid the release of refrigerant to the environment
and do not extract indoors where its accumulation could be
dangerous.
