ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
ASSEMBLY MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY
ADULTS. TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING THE
VEHICLE FROM ITS PACKAGING. ALL THE
SCREWS AND SMALL PARTS ARE CONTAINED IN
A BAG INSIDE THE PACKAGING.
Do not use the toy if you find it damaged after
opening the packaging. Contact the shop where you
bought it or the customer support centre.
Take care in the presence of children while
assembling the toy, given the risks caused by small
parts (ingestion hazard) and the plastic bags that
contain them (choking hazard).
To assemble the toy, you will need a flat-head
screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a hammer, and a
pair of pliers.
ASSEMBLY
1 • Position the grill with the upper tabs in the two
openings in the chassis.
2 • Pull the grill downwards and fasten it to the
chassis, inserting the two tabs into the openings
shown by Letter A. Press all the way in.
3 • Loosen the screw on the front of the chassis as
shown in the figure. Set the screw aside to use in
fastening the hood later.
4 • Position the hood by inserting the tab into the
opening in the frame (see detail A). Turn the
hood downward.
5 • Press the 2 tabs on the hood into the openings
in the chassis.
6 • Fasten the hood into place, using the supplied
screw.
7 • Position the toy motor by inserting the lower
tabs into the two openings in the chassis.
8 • Pull the toy motor into its position, and fasten it
by pressing the upper part all the way down.
Note: Detail A shows the correct way to fasten
the motor to the opening in the hood and the
chassis.
9 • Position the seat support on the vehicle frame.
10 • Push the seat support down fully until it locks
onto the frame.
11 • Unscrew the 2 knobs under the seat.
12 • Position the seat as shown in the figure.
13 • IMPORTANT: the seat can be adjusted to 2
positions depending on the height of the child
(see figure). Position 1: the seat is higher and
further back. Position 2: the seat is lower and
further forward.
14 • Turn the vehicle on its side, keeping the seat in
position. Unscrew the chain cover under the
vehicle.
15 • Open the cover to access the seat fixing screws.
16 • Screw on the two seat fixing knobs as shown in
the figure. Close and screw on the cover.
17 • Snap on the 2 rear lights.
18 • Assemble the indicators as shown in the figure.
19 • Fit the 2 indicators at the front of the vehicle, as
shown in figures 1-2, taking care that the hollow
part of the indicator is facing down.
20 • Press on the 2 headlights as shown in detail A.
21 • Connected the two parts of the steering wheel.
22 • Position the steering wheel. Fix the steering
wheel with the screw and washer provided.
23 • Push on the steering wheel cap as shown in the
figure.
24 • Remove the 4 protective caps from the wheel
axles.
25 • Fit one of the large wheels onto the axle from
the side illustrated in the figure. Ensure that the
wheel tread is oriented as shown. Insert the axle
into the shaped hole in the wheel.
26 • Slide the bush provided and a washer onto the
other end of the axle (see figure) and proceed to
fit the remaining large wheel.
27 • Insert a self-locking washer into the special tool
(see figure). IMPORTANT: the washer flanges
must be orientated towards the inside of the
tool (see detail A).
28 • Fit the left wheel as shown in the figure, pushing
the self-locking washer on fully.
29 • Position the conical tool provided on the axle of
the previously fitted wheel. Position the vehicle
on its side with the left wheel and the tool at the
bottom. Ensure that the tool does not move out
of position.
30 • Insert a self-locking washer into the tool (figure
27). IMPORTANT: the washer flanges must be
orientated towards the inside of the tool (see
detail A). Fix the right wheel as shown, pushing
the self-locking washer on fully.
31 • Insert a washer onto the fore-carriage spindle as
shown in the figure.
32 • Insert one of the two small wheels, ensuring that
the wheel tread is correctly oriented.
33 • Insert a self-locking washer into the tool (figure
27). IMPORTANT: the washer flanges must be
orientated towards the inside of the tool (see
detail A). Fix the wheel as shown in the figure,
pushing the self-locking washer on fully. Follow
the same instructions (figures 31-32-33) to fix
the remaining front wheel.
TRAILER
34 • Insert one of the 4 self-locking washers (the
tractor comes with 2 spare washers) into the
special tool provided with the tractor.
ATTENTION: the tabs on the self-locking washer
must be turned towards the interior of the tool
(see detail A).
35 • Remove the axle from the packing. Remove the
protective caps from the axle. Insert the axle by
pounding the special tool all the way in using a
hammer. Remove the tool.
36 • Slide the 2 wheels onto the axle. IMPORTANT:
check that the wheels are correctly inserted,
with the hub caps facing out.
37 • Place a self-locking washer in the special tool,
and insert the prepared axle, pounding it all the
way in.
38 • Attach the wheel unit to the base of the trailer
by pressing on it.
39 • Attach the bottom of the trailer (prepared
beforehand) to the bed by pressing, as shown in
the figure.
40 • Assemble the 3 sides of the trailer, ensuring that
the parts with the wooden effect are facing
outwards.
41 • Fit the assembled parts into the slots in the base
of the trailer.
42 • Insert the red coupling into the hole on the
trailer (see figure).
43 • Couple the trailer onto the back of the tractor,
rotating the red lever. Figure 1: the trailer can be
uncoupled; figure 2: the trailer coupled.
WARNING: The trailer will hold a load weighing
up to 5 kg.
44 • Attach the 2 hubcaps to the wheels on the
trailer (Attention, in the packaging you will find 6
hubcaps; the remaining 4 are to be attached to
the wheels of the tractor).
