Warranty Conditions

This product is guaranteed for 1 year against defects in manufacturing or assembly.
This guarantee only applies to the primary purchase by the end user. It does not cover issuesrelated to
improper handling by the user. Proof of purchase is required in order to render the warranty valid.
The warranty does not cover problems associated with improper use, whether it is a result of negligence,
processing, failure to store properly (excessive heat or humidity), improper installation or unauthorized
repairs.
The manufacturer is contractually required to repair or replace the defective product.
ALTEC LANSING is under no financial obligation to pay any amount in excess of that paid by the end user.
Reasons for warranty exclusions
Expired warranty period
No proof of purchase
Visible damage / breakage
Oxidation
Improper use
Use of non-approved accessories
Product altered, repaired or modified by an unauthorized third party
Missing or altered serial number
Warranty voided due to broken or altered packaging
Damage due to accident, neglect, improper maintenance/care or force majeure
Damage due to the installation of third-party software or a virus

1.Please refer to the above illustration and connect the satellites to the back panel board of Subwoofer.
2.Connect the Music Source (DVD, CD, MP3, Computer, etc) with AL-SND339F's Input Terminal.
Important: please pay attention to the marks of specific channel of each speaker. Otherwise it will
influence the stereo sound performance.
3.Adjust the Volume Knob and try to make the Speaker System working in perfect condition. Note:
when playing music, please don't turn the volume to the maximum. Otherwise, distortion and cracking
voice may occur, which will be very annoying and also damage the Speaker System and shorten its
working life.
4.Placement: to achieve a better sound performance, the distance between two satellites should be greater
than 80cm and the satellites should be placed at the height level of listener's ears. It's better to put the
Subwoofer on the floor or approach to the corner to increase bass effect.
5.Our products have passed the Strengthening test before shipment. Though our products have been
equipped with a powerful amplifier, it is suggested not playing at maximum volume for an extended
period of time to avoid annoying your family or neighbors and also protect the Speaker from overloading.
6.Burn-in: Our products have gone through the aging test before shipment, but further burn-in should
be performed to achieve much richer sound details and make the sound more soft and sweet. The time
of burn-in is between 2 to 3 hours each day, total 60 to 80 hours, during which the volume should be
appropriate and the music style changed continuously.
7.Daily Care: This product doesn't need special daily care after purchasing. However, it should not be
exposed under direct sunlight or in heavy humid environment. Do not use hands or hard things to press
the Cone of Speaker Driver. If there is any problem with the product, please refer to the Chapter of
Trouble Shooting and Maintenance as below:
