Programming the remote control
Setting the UCS520 to programming mode
a) Set the UCS520 to programming mode by switching on the power sup-
ply
Switch on the power supply.
The UCS520 will remain in programming mode for 3 minutes.
b) Set the UCS520 to programming mode using the programming button
Press and hold the programming button for 3 seconds.
The control light indicates that the programming mode has been activated.
The UCS520 will remain in programming mode for 3 minutes.
Programming master transmitter
Press and hold the programming button of the transmitter for 3 seconds while
in programming mode.
The system will confi rm the programme setting with a 'nod', i.e. the shutter/
awning/blind moves a few centimetres in one direction and then reverses the
same distance.
This confi rmation is hereafter referred to as 'nodding'.
The programming process is now complete.
Programming additional transmitters
Note
Besides the master transmitter, up to 15 additional transmitters can be
programmed in the UCS520.
Press and hold the programming button of the preprogrammed master trans-
mitter for 3 seconds.
The shutter/awning/blind will 'nod' to confi rm.
Now press the programming button of the new transmitter which is not yet pro-
grammed in the UCS520 and keep it pressed for 3 seconds. This will activate
the programming mode of the UCS520 for a new transmitter for a period of 3
minutes.
The shutter/awning/blind will 'nod' to confi rm.
Now press the programming button of this new transmitter once again and keep
pressed for a further 3 seconds.
The shutter/awning/blind will 'nod' to confi rm.
The new transmitter has been successfully programmed.
