The piping used must be of copper refrigeration quality in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU. And EN12735-1.
All piping must be correctly supported and fixed and should in no case be allowed to restrict the piping of the condenser
units. In order to reduce vibrations of the frame and panels, compressor is disconnected to the frame by flexible mounting.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
General information
The machine is designed in accordance with EN60204-1.
Supplying cable must be connected on terminal of main switch.
Take care: voltage close to circuits and main switch.
All cabling on site must conform to the legal standards in force in the relevant countries and to EN60204-1.
Except for special operation, the nominal current must be:
- power circuit: 400V/3+N/50Hz +Earth
- control circuit: 230V/1/50Hz (pressure switches, fans speed control, crankcaseheaters).
Neutral is compulsory.

These are designed for a direct start.
The compressor motors are fitted with an anti-short cycle mechanism allowing a maximum of 6 start-ups per hour. Timer T1
adjustment must not be modified.
ZB compressors are protected with an internal thermistor or an external thermostat (following models).
Motor switch off when windings temperature or discharge temperature is too high (independently of control)
ZF compressors are protected with an external thermostat.

The motor fitted in the condenser is three phase with internal overload protection.
T4 :Models equipped with 2 EC centrifugal fans 500mm diameter

The motor protections must conform to legal standards and calibrated to the nominal current.

SafetyFeatures
The safety switches fitted to the compressors must cut off the compressor instantaneously.
Crankcase
heater
The crankcase heater must be powered and operational during compressor shut-downs.
Evaporating
pressure
This control is carried out by the electronic controller EC2 through a low pressure pressure transmitter.
For models without digital compressor,1 pressure switch per compressor is used for the control.
During rise pressure, this pressure switch engage and induce the starting of compressor if the safety line is closed.
Condensing
pressure
This control is carried out by the electronic controller EC2 through a high pressure pressure transmitter.
Following HP pressure, a signal 0..10 V higher or lower is given to the EC motors. Thereby, the fan speed fluctuate following
condensing pressure (settings : see EC2 technical leaflet).
Note : EC2 controller allows to set a minimum or a maximum speed for the fans.
For models without digital compressor, control is carried out by a fan speed controller (see operating instructions of the fan speed
control).
