• Insert the filter cartridges and seal them properly with
rubber ring, metal washer and nut.
• Position the cartridge lids and close them with the knobs.
Note: make sure that the front of the cartridge aligns with the
filter housing so that the lid closes well. If this is not the case,
it means that the filter cartridge has not been positioned
correctly. This may cause leakage, less efficient operation of
the filter and, in combination with the Shield, false fire alarm.

Compressed air

- The pressure on the connecting compressed air line is to be
set at a maximum of 5 Bars (65psi/sq.in.).
- A filter regulator, (available as accessory - Product no.
CAR-KIT), including a manometer, water/oil separator, 2 m
tube and an end plug should be fitted to the filter.
- The connection on the back of the filter modules and the
filter regulator is for 12 mm PU tube.

Electric connection

• Fit the control box to a wall or similar in the proximity of
the filter.
- Do not expose the equipment to direct sunlight, as the
electrical circuits must not be subjected to extreme
temperatures.
- The equipment must not be exposed to rain.
- C onnecting cables to and from the unit must be connected in
such a way that water or condensation cannot run into the
box via the cables.
- Cable entry's may not be made from the top of the box.
- Do not fit the equipment to a wall that is subject to vibration.
