3 Check that no ethyl alcohol is left on the ionizer.
Cleaning
Thoroughly clean the ionizer every three months.
1 Deinstall the ionizer.
2 Dampen the lint-free cloth or foam cotton swab with a small amount of ethyl alcohol.
3 NOTICE: Damage or malfunction Do not touch the emitter pin with any hard object.
NOTICE: Malfunction due to contamination Avoid touching the emitter pin with fingers. Wear gloves.
Wipe the inside and outside of the insulation (white PTFE) around the emitter pin (1). Very gently wipe the
emitter pin.
The PTFE insulation and emitter pin are clean.
4 Clean the insulation tube (3) between the steel emitter barrel (2) and the body of the ionizer.
5 Check that no ethyl alcohol is left on the ionizer.
6 Reinstall the ionizer, see [Installing Antistatic Kit Page 6].
