Charge the Battery
The battery charges when the garage door opener is plugged into an electrical outlet and requires 24 hours to fully charge. A fully charged
battery supplies power to the garage door opener for 1 to 2 days of normal operation during an electrical power outage. The battery will
last approximately 1 to 2 years with normal usage. To obtain maximum battery life and prevent damage, disconnect the battery when the
garage door opener is unplugged for an extended period of time, such as in a summer or winter home.
