Application

The iAV Control valve is an intelligent control valve that enables de-
mand control to be set both centrally and zonally combined with a (roof)
fan which may or may not be pressure controlled. This makes the valve
eminently suitable for ventilation projects using common exhaust, such
as apartments, student accommodation, studios, etc., as well as in
non-residential buildings (schools / offices / care centres).
The iAV Control valve is available with a built-in sensor (CO or humidi-

ty) or without a sensor.
Master / Slave
One or more iAV Control valves can be specified per zone. These can
operate as masters (stand-alone) or as slaves (with external control).
An iAV Control valve can be paired with an IQ-unit or with another
'master' iAV Control valve.
In order to control multiple iAV Control valves simultaneously using one
or more controls (= zone with multiple valves), iAV Control valves can be
added wirelessly (RF) as slaves under a master iAV Control valve.
IQ-unit
The iAV Control valve can operate on a stand-alone basis when using a
pressure-controlled fan. A non-pressure-controlled fan needs an IQ-
unit to control the fan using a PWM signal. An IQ-unit must be specified
in systems that are to be linked to a building management system
(via ModBus), independently of the fan type. Please refer to the IQ-unit
manual for more information.
