Advice on Batteries
The batteries supplied are not recharge-
able. Batteries must never be damaged,
opened by force or thrown on to an open
flame. Replace batteries only with the
type of battery recommended in these
instructions. Never discard used batteries
in your household refuse.
Batteries contain substances that can be a
danger to the environment and to human
health. Separate collection and recycling
of used batteries prevents this and the
treatment ensures that the substances
can be recycled.
Meaning of the labelling with the che-
mical symbols of the metals: Hg (Quick-
silver), Cd (Cadmium), Pb (Lead) where
the limit of more than 0.0005 mass
percentage of quicksilver more than
0.002 mass percentage of cadmium or
more than 0.004 mass percentage of
lead is exceeded.
