Language selection, changing °F
Your meat thermometer is preset to Ger-
man. To select a different language mode
open the casing by twisting gently to the
right and remove one of the two batteries
(1). While replacing the battery hold the
SET button down and select the required
language with the plus or minus button.
To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit use
the little black switch at the top of the
casing (2) . Please close the casing again.
Selecting meat type
You can switch between user mode and
7 meat types (beef, veal, lamb, pork,
chicken, turkey and minced meat) with
the plus or minus button. For beef, veal
and lamb you can select the desired
degree of cooking (medium rare, medium
or well done) with the SET button. Each
meat type is allocated a target tempera-
ture. If you want to change this, in user
mode, press the SET button until this
starts to flash. Using the plus or minus
