Multi VRF Floor Standing Indoor Unit
(1) Open the cover of electric box of indoor unit.
(2) Lead the communication line across the rubber ring.
(3) Connect the communication line to terminal D1 and D2 on the 4-digit wiring board of
indoor unit, as shown in Fig.5.3.1.
(4) Secure the communication line with the wire clamp on the electric box.
(5) In order to ensure the reliability of communication between IDU and ODU and the
communication among each IDU, add a matched resistance(supplied in a package before
ex-factory) on the wiring board of the last indoor unit in a series connection. The matched
resistance should be connected in parallel between terminal screw D1 and D2, as shown
in Fig.5.3.2.

5.4 Connection of Communication Line of Wired Controller

(1) Open the cover of electric box of indoor unit.
(2) Lead the communication line of wired controller across the rubber ring.
(3) Connect the communication wire to terminal H1 and H2 of indoor 4-bit wiring board.
(4) Fix the communication wire with wire clip on the electric box.
5.5 Illuminate for Connection of Wired Controller and Indoor Units
Network
(1) Communication wire of indoor unit and outdoor unit (or indoor unit) is connected to D1,D2.
(2) Wired controller is connected to H1,H2.
(3) One indoor unit can only connect to one wired controller.
(4) One wired controller can only conntect to one floor standing indoor unit.
Notes:
① The display of floor standing type unit corresponds to a built-in wired controller, it's an
acquiescent "master wired controller". When the floor standing type unit externally connect a
wired controller, the address of display and wired controller for floor standing type unit should
be set, it should set a master wired controller (address is 01) and a slave wired controller
(address is 02). The setting method of display for floor standing unit is: under power-off status,
press "Mode" and "Speed" buttons simultainously for 5 seconds to switch the settings of
master wired controller and slave wired controller. For the address setting method of wired
controller please refer to user instruction of wired controller.
② The display of floor standing type unit can be set as the master wired controller or the
slave wired controller.
③ When the indoor unit of floor standing type unit is connected to wired controller and the
wired controller is master wired controller, the parameter of the unit can be inquired and set
through wired controller, and the inquiring and setting method please refer to user instruction
of wired controller.
