2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The stove or insert that you have purchased contains the following pieces:
•
Complete structure of the stove or insert on the pallet.
•
Inside the combustion chamber you can find: a box/bag with a thermal glove that allows us to use the handle of the door and other components.
The electrical interconnection cable between the stove and the network. A hook (cold hands handle) to make easier the removing and cleaning of
the burner. The remote control of the stove or insert (battery included). A book in order to register all maintenance tasks performed to the stove as

The equipment consists of several elements of steel sheets welded, with different thickness. It also has a door with vitro ceramic glass (resistant up to
750ºC) and ceramic cord for the air tightness in the combustion chamber.
Heating is produced by:
Forced convection: thanks to the fan placed on the bottom of the stove, the air at room temperature is aspired and it is returned to the room at
a.
a higher temperature.
Radiation: through the vitro ceramic glass and the body the heat is irradiated towards the environment.

3. FUELS
WARNING:
The use of a low quality pellet or any other fuel in disagreement with the specifications mentioned below implies the
cancellation of the warranty and the responsibility bounded to the product
Only wood pellets certified by these standards or certifications should be used :
Standards:
•
Ö-Norm M 7135 | Din 51731 | EN-14962-2 (all repealed and included in ISO-17225-2)
•
ISO-17225-2
Quality certifications:
•
DIN+
•
ENplus: On the web site (www.pelletenplus.es) you can check all manufacturers and distributors with certificate.
It is strongly recommended that the pellet is certified with quality certifications because this is the only way to guarantee
the constant quality of the pellet.
Boreal recommends the use of pellets with 6 mm diameter, a maximum longer of 3.5 cm and with a humidity percentage lower than 8%.
STORAGE OF PELLET
•
In order to guarantee combustion without any problem it is necessary to keep the pellet in a dry ambient.
PELLET SUPPLY
•
Open the tank cover on the top of the equipment (Slim 9 and Slim 12) and empty directly the pellet bag taking care of not overflowing. You should also
avoid that the fuel spills out and falls outside the hopper because it would fall into the
equipment.
The model Insert 7 can supply fuel in two ways:
-
Simply open the upper pellet loading tray (for this use the glove incorporated) and
then fill the pellet loading tray with a suitable container, taking care that it does not
overflow. Push the drawer with the supplied accessory inwards until the pellet falls
into the hopper. Repeat this operation several times until the pellet of the hopper is
seen through the drawer.
