3.1. User information in display read-out

Light absorption for zero value is too great. Cause
could be, for instance, a dirty optical component in
the cuvette chamber.
Measurement range has been exceeded or water
sample is too opaque.
Measurement range has been exceeded.
The 9 V battery must be changed for a new battery
(or the storage battery must be charged). Initiated
measuring routines should not be continued.
Power supply to the device is inadequate. The device
can only be turned off by pressing the ON/OFF key.
The temperature difference between the photometer
and ambient atmosphere is too great. Restarting the
measurement routine after 15 minutes at the earliest
is recommended.
The device can no longer be shut off under control.
There is an electronic fault which can, for example,
be caused by the entry of water.
It is urgently recommended that you call servic-
ing!
The unit must be switched off by disconnecting the
battery or storage battery.
