12. This appliance must be used with the sliding feed table and
the piece holder in position unless this is not possible due
to the size or shape of the food.
13. The appliance may be connected and operated only in
accordance with the specifications on the rating plate.
14. Do not use the damaged appliance or the damaged power
lead.
15. Only our customer service may repair the appliance, e.g. by
replacing a damaged power cord, in order to avoid hazards.
16. Never connect this appliance to an external timer switch or
remote control system in order to avoid a hazardous
situation.
17. After using the appliance, if it is left unattended or if the
appliance is faulty, always disconnect the power lead from
the mains socket.
18. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is switched
on!
19. Do not pull the power lead over sharp edges. To prevent
injury, any repairs such as replacing a damaged power lead,
should only be carried out by customer service.
20. Worn-out appliances must be made unsuitable for further
use.
21. The wall socket must be accessible and must be earthed
according to technical specification.
22. The appliance is only suitable for cutting firm foods, such as
bread, sausage or semi-hard cheese. The cutting of other
substances (e.g. wood) or very hard foods (bone, hard
cheese, deep-frozen food) is not permitted.
23. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which
come in contact with food or oil, please refer to the
paragraph "CLEANING" of the manual.
24. Regarding the instructions for the use of accessories,
operation times and speed settings, please refer to the
below paragraphs.
