APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The knee brace has 2 lateral hinges blocked in extension. It also has a
removable posterior stay along the popliteal area. This stay is pre-shaped, but
can be moulded according to patient's needs or it can be removed.
With the patient lying on their back, open the brace.
1 - Position the patient's leg on the brace, with the knee centred between
the 2 bilateral hinges. Close the anti-slip strap on the calf using the hook and
loop closure.
2 - Secure the brace by closing the thigh cuff and calf cuff using the hook and
loop closures.
3 - Adjust the 4 straps to the required length and close using the buckle/clip
closure. Tighten the brace according to level of compression required.
Hinges
• To adjust flexion/extension, open the cap of each hinge, position the flexion/
extension stops at the desired angle, and close the hinge cap.
• To avoid damaging the hinges, the flexion/extension stops must be
positioned at the same angle on both hinges.
